I absolutely love photographing weddings at Tapestry House — it’s one of my favorite venues in Fort Collins and along Colorado’s Front Range. On a crisp October afternoon, I had the joy of capturing Matt & Claire’s wedding there, and the whole day felt like something out of a storybook. The manor’s vintage charm, the lush gardens, and the golden-hour glow made for magical photos. Pricing is package-based and varies by: number of guests, package level, time of year, and day of week.

As of 2025:

  • Per-person cost ranges roughly $59 → $129/person depending on package level (e.g. Build-Your-Own → Elite).
  • Ceremony fees run roughly $495 to $1,495, depending on season and date.
  • Venue fees (for the space itself) vary — weekdays/off-peak are more affordable (hundreds of dollars), while peak-season Saturday evenings are the most expensive.

Packages typically include tables, chairs, linens, flatware, catering, bar services, event staff, setup/cleanup, and coordination, which removes many of the logistical headaches couples face.

Getting Ready & First Looks

Matt & Claire both got ready inside the manor. The historic rooms, vintage wallpaper and variety of colors made for beautiful getting-ready portraits and added a timeless feel to their images. I love how the manor offers unique “getting ready” rooms — perfect for capturing those quiet, emotional moments before “I do.”

Outdoor Garden Ceremony & Weather

They chose an outdoor ceremony under the trees on the property — the weather was absolutely gorgeous in October: crisp air, soft golden light, and subtle fall tones in the garden. The garden + gazebo + old-growth trees made for a romantic backdrop that paired beautifully with mountain-light quality.

Family Portraits & Couple Photos

After the ceremony, we did portraits around the manor exterior — great mix of old-world charm + natural surroundings. The variety of backgrounds (historic manor, manicured gardens, rustic pavilion) gave so much texture to their album.

Cocktail in Pavilion / Greenhouse-Style Space + Reception in

For the reception, the couple used the pavilion/greenhouse-style reception space. The mix of indoor comfort + garden-adjacent ambiance made for a cozy, elegant dinner and party. Guests moved easily between the reception space and the gardens, perfect for mingling and photo opportunities. I especially love how the pavilion/terrace layout gives breathing room for guests without sacrificing intimacy.

  • Garden / Lilac bushes / Manor exterior — ideal for golden hour couples portraits or family shots. The historic architecture + natural light = dream backgrounds. The garden is best for spring and summer wedding dates.
  • Interior rooms of the manor — the vintage wallpaper, woodwork, and old-world character make for timeless getting-ready photos (bride prep, detail shots, first looks).
  • Terrace + Tree-lined Grounds — great for receptions, candid guest shots, couples photos, bridal party, and portraits. and ambient night photography (if lights are used).
  • Greenhouse Space - gorgeous white tent with windows and hanging plants, this space can be used at the cocktail space, or part of the reception space.
  • Pavilion — great for receptions, dancing and ambient night photography (if lights are used).
