FAQ
How do you help us feel comfortable in front of the camera?
Most of my couples are not professional models—and they don’t need to be. My approach is relaxed and intuitive: I offer gentle direction when needed, but my priority is to create a space where you can be fully yourselves. This results in photos that feel effortless, not posed.
Do you help with building a wedding timeline?
Yes—absolutely. From your first inquiry through the final gallery delivery, I’m here to be a resource. I work closely with you (and your planner, if you have one) to build a photography timeline that feels natural, keeps the day flowing, and ensures you have time to truly enjoy each moment.
What’s your approach to family portraits and wedding party photos?
I believe these photos are an important part of your story. I work with you ahead of time to organize a list, making the process efficient and smooth on the wedding day. My goal is to keep everyone relaxed and present, while creating classic images your families will treasure.
What happens if the weather changes on our wedding day?
Living and photographing in Colorado, I’m very familiar with changing skies. I always come prepared with backup plans, and I work quickly and calmly to adjust if needed. Some of the most beautiful, meaningful images can happen when the unexpected unfolds.
How much coverage do we really need?
Most couples book between 7 hours to all day coverage to fully tell the story of their day, from getting ready through the dance floor. If you’re planning something more intimate, I offer flexible options for smaller weddings and celebrations.
What’s included in your wedding collections?
All of my collections include a personalized experience, a private online gallery, full-resolution edited images, and guidance throughout your planning process. Custom quotes are available for weddings large and small, based on your specific needs.
When will we receive our photos? How many will we get?
You’ll receive a preview gallery within two weeks and your full gallery within 6-8 weeks after your wedding. Every wedding day is unique, but most couples can expect between 600–900 carefully curated images that tell the complete story of their day.
Can we book an engagement session separately or add it on?
Yes! Engagement sessions can be booked separately or included in your wedding collection. They’re a wonderful way to get comfortable in front of the camera, celebrate your season of engagement, and create images in a location meaningful to you.
Are you familiar with our venue?
Even if I haven’t photographed at your venue before, I arrive early, scout thoroughly, and adapt quickly to new spaces. Years of experience and a deep understanding of light, composition, and timing allow me to create beautiful images wherever your day takes place.
How do you back up our photos?
Your memories are priceless. I photograph with dual memory cards, ensuring that every image is instantly backed up in-camera. After your wedding, all files are saved on multiple hard drives and a secure cloud backup to keep your images safe.
Do we need a second photographer?
A second photographer can be added to your collection if you’d like fuller coverage of your day. It's a wonderful option if you want both partners’ getting-ready moments documented, additional ceremony coverage from multiple perspectives, or cocktail hour and reception details photographed while we're creating portraits. I’m happy to talk through your plans and help you decide what’s best for your day.
